Closing Date 2022.10.16                                                                                                                          Sri Lanka Law College – General Law Entrance Examination 2022 (Academic Year – 2023 January)

Sri Lanka Law College is inviting applications from eligible candidates to sit for the General Entrance Examination 2022. This examination is held for the Admission of Students to Sri Lanka Law College for the Academic Year 2023 (January).

Required Minimum Educational Qualification:

(a) Two credit passes and one simple pass (except General English and General Knowledge subjects) at one and the same sitting at the Sri Lanka General Certificate of Education (A/L) Examination; AND

(b) Credit passes in English Language AND Sinhala / Tamil Language at the G.C.E. (O/L) or N.C.G.E. Examination; AND

(c) Applicants should have completed seventeen years of age at the date on which submission of applications closes.

·        Candidates are required to refer to the gazette notification No.2208/13 published on Wednesday, December 30, 2020, and the college website (www.sllc.ac.lk) for entry qualifications.

Entrance Examination

All applicants must sit for the General Entrance Examination to be held ONLY in Colombo on November 20, 2022.

1.     Language Skills

2.     General Knowledge and General Intelligence

Language Selection – A candidate may elect to answer the General Knowledge and General Intelligence Paper in the Sinhala, Tamil, or English Language. If the candidate elects to answer the General Knowledge and General Intelligence Paper in either the Sinhala Language or the Tamil Language, the candidate should elect to sit for the English Language Paper. If the candidate elects to answer the General Knowledge and General Intelligence Paper in the English Language, the candidate should elect to sit for either the Sinhala Language or the Tamil Language Paper.
